A lucky chance brought me to Axel’s site, and so far the result has been that two new and beautiful chawan have been added to my collection – packaged in a way that even the postal services would have a hard time trying to destroy. More of his collection will hopefully find its way into mine over time as his catalogue is composed of an interesting selection of items related to the Japanese tea ceremony, chosen with great care and listed at very reasonable prices.

Of special value – especially for those like me, with a somewhat limited knowledge of the subject – are the extensive descriptions of the individual items, with detailed information on the potter, the techniques etc.
